SARA LOMELIN

Sara Lomelin is a connector of people and ideas, a relationship builder and a firm believer that everyone can be a philanthropist. A self-proclaimed philanthropy disruptor, Sara travels the world speaking about the power of collective giving, including TED 2022 where she delivered her talk, “Your Invitation to Disrupt Philanthropy.” As founding CEO of Philanthropy Together, Sara is growing a movement of people-powered philanthropy to resource grassroots nonprofits, shift power dynamics and promote widespread philanthropy. In 2023, Sara was named to Forbes’ 50 Over 50: Impact List. Prior to Philanthropy Together, Sara served as Senior Director of Leadership Philanthropy at Opportunity Fund and the Vice President of Philanthropy at the Latino Community Foundation launching the Latino Giving Circle Network.

Dwayne S. Marsh assumed the position of President and CEO of Northern California Grantmakers on September 9, 2020. He brings 27 years of experience in the public, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors with a career commitment to advancing racial and economic equity. His prior roles include co-Director of the Government Alliance on Race and Equity, Vice President of Institutional and Sectoral Change at Race Forward, Senior Advisor in the Office of Economic Resilience at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, a decade at PolicyLink and more. His career has been defined by supporting communities traditionally marginalized from full participation in our economy and society to build power and leverage lasting systems transformation.

ADAM PISONI

Investor and Serial Entrepreneur (He/Him)

Adam Pisoni is an investor and serial entrepreneur that advises for-profit and nonprofit impact organizations. His career has been focused on helping organizations become more agile and responsive. Adam is currently focused on creating more awareness of community-led collaborative funds. The goal of this project is to diversify who and what gets funded. Adam’s last company, Abl, works with K-12 school districts to surface and address inequities that led to barriers to postsecondary success. Previously, Adam co-founded Yammer which was sold to Microsoft in 2012 for $1.2 Billion. He oversaw product, analytics, and engineering, scaling the company to 500 employees.

Erinn Andrews is a social entrepreneur, innovator, and philanthropy expert. As the Founder and CEO of GiveTeam, Erinn built a unique philanthropic planning practice that specializes in supporting donors who give ~$10K–500K per year and want to be more intentional in their giving. Prior to GiveTeam, Erinn led the Effective Philanthropy Learning Initiative at Stanford’s Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society where she conducted research to understand donor behavior, published resources, and developed education programs. Before that, she led GuideStar’s (now Candid) nonprofit strategy, managing the largest database of nonprofit information in the US. While there, she developed and launched the GuideStar bronze, silver, gold, and platinum levels of distinction, encouraging more organizations to self-report data.
